New beatboxing tutorial, we will learn how to do an Electric Bass sound
and then Isato will teach you how to use this beat box sound to do a Robot voice like transformers.

Warning! :This sound is not an easy sound to do at first .
If your throat starts to hurt, Stop !, rest a little bit till it’s ok and only then
continue practicing.

The Electric Bass sound:

Step 1: Start humming through your nose

Step 2: Do a long hum and concentrate on humming through your throat.
we want to hear that bass sound coming out.

Step 3: Say “tim” and hum with your throat on the letter “m” .
try to make the “t” punchy.

This is our electric bass sound.

Ways to use it:

The first way: Is to use it individually, try saying “tim” and play notes with it.
for example do a billie jean song and use this sound to do the bass line.

The second way: Is to use it in a beat, to play the melody or again the bass line.
like in justin timberlake song sexy back, you hear he bass – this is our electric bass sound.

The third way: To enhance your percussion sounds, you can add it to any sound.
you can do bass with a kick sound, with the snare or even with the high hat or click rolls.

The TransformerRobot Voice:

Step 1: take the words “robot voice”
and separate them in to phrases (ro)-(bot)-(voice).

Step 2: use our electric bass sound that we learned to say those words.
the bass will make your voice sound like a robot.

Tip: try to say it with brakes and really imitate a robot talking.

Now you might heard this sound made famous by rahzel.
This is a great sound to do to make any sound yours stronger and bassy.

Warning! :This sound is not an easy sound to do at first .
If your throat starts to hurt, Stop !, rest a little bit till it’s ok and only then
continue practising.

Enjoy our new beatboxing tutorial
be creative .

Hello Beatboxers

In this tutorial we are going to learn how to do an inward and outward clap sound.
This are very useful sounds to do because the complete each other .

First sound of an Inward clap:

Step 1:Put your tongue at the roof of your mouth , like you are saying the letter “L” .
“This is the position !”

Step 2:breath Inside your mouth , take a long breath in .
and because your tongue is in L position the air should go/flow from both of the sides of of your tongue and make a sound very similar to “Hhh -Hhh!”- The best way to describe it it’s like when a Dog Breathes “in and out” “Hhh- Hhh” – This is the sound that we are searching for.

Step 3:now when you got that sound .
we add the letter “k” so it will be “kh” while you inhale.
what you do > you take the long inhale sound the “khhh” and make it very short ,
take a short inhale, very quick one , to emphasize it with second like if the
long inhale is a second so the short will be a half second or less .
and that’s how you are going to get the clap sound that will sound like : “Kh”

Listen to Kenny Muhamed he got that quick clap sound and you will get it , I know you will :)

So I hope it helped .
Feel free to ask more questions.
And Comment on our videos
If you made it make a video response and show me :)

Good luck and till next time.

Isato.

Hello Beatboxers!

This is Isato and today we are going to Learn how to do Lil wayne’s Beat called Lollipop.
Allot of people asked us to teach this so here it is :)
First you have to master doing the Synth Sound ,The “two!” “two!” remember, now with this cool beat box sound you can do any kind of melody ,so we chose the lollipop .

First step : Listen to lil wayne’s song first! then start doing the “two” “two”
by the melody, as I said in the video I will give you the notes that somebody else will play them for you that you will be more accurate at doing this .

The Intro is :
E,F#,G,A
E,F#,G,B

Then Later when I Teach ,just beatbox it a half tone back, Like this:
Eb,F,F#,G#
Eb,F,F#,A#

This is very useful because ,we at beatbox tutorial want you to be the best beatboxer there is , so you must practice to be as accurate as you can, ok?! Good:)

Step two:The Beat ,In this tutorial I use a simple beat, classic Kick and classic snare one ofter another in the count of 1.2.3.4.
The Kick is on the 1, the snare is on the 2, the Kick is on the 3, the snare is on 4.
and you loop it, after you did that we add the melody.

Step three: The beat and the Melody at the same time hahahah!!!
It’s very simple you start with the beat and the you add the melody on top .
The TRICK is … To to it right you need to do the first tone of the melody the Synth “Two” at the same time with the first kick ,Get it? It’s Like “[b]two” or “t[b]wo” or “[p]wo”.

The Idea is that you keep the beat going and the melody comes in between.

So this is the end of this weeks tutorial , Keep practicing and beatboxing
For any questions ,EMAIL:)

Today you will learn how to beat box Synth Sounds, it’s very easy and very cool sound to learn.
with this sound you will be able to human beatbox any kind of melody.
It will be a great tool in your beatbox arsenal .

The Synthesizer Sound is done by saying the word “two” in a high pitch voice
like falsetto. “Twooo”! now by changing the notes that you “sing” you can play
any melody that you want.

It’s important not to strain yourself with the falsetto sounds, and it’s always important to do
a little vocal warm up before you go falsetto and practice your “Beatbox and Synth at the Same time” (Rahzel)

Here is a lil’ beatbox warm up:
1.Sing the word “two” for a second …{YOU}: “twooo”… good :)
2.Now you know the basic music scale “Do, Re, Mi ,Fa,Sol,La ,Si ,Do” ? … Yes ? / No?
(if now check it on youtube it’s easy)
3.Great,now try to sing this scale “Do ,Re, Mi …” with the Sinth sound .

This is your lil’ beatbox warm up from now on:)

After we did the warm up ,now lets talk about the stuff that we can do with the synth sound.
Some examples : Try doing the lil wayne – lollipop melody or flow rida – Low .
it’s a very good start because those melodies are very simple and these are famous songs,
So will impress everybody with your human beatbox skills.

Putting the Beat – It’s a very easy part of this beatboxing tutorial if you learn how to beatbox
the Synth, just take the classic kick sound and a clap or a classic snare sound and put in between
the “twoo’s” or you can say the “two” and do the classic kick at the same time (try) ..
In this case we will give up the “t” in “two” and we will do only “[p]oo” get it?
we will replace the “t” with the “kick sound” it could be “p” or “b”

So this is the end of this weeks tutorial , practice allot :)

Yours Isato:)

Ladies and Gentlemen please welcome the Poll Winning Beatbox Tutorial “50 cent – In Da Club”

This is a new Beatbox tutorial for 50 Cent In Da Club song.

As you noticed we have a new way of making tutorials from now on we gather all your requests that we receive in the e-mail and we make a poll and from this poll we choose 2 requests it has been voted the most and we make those tutorial for you.

Our purpose in beatbox tutorial dot net is to help as much people as possible and because we have a lot of requests we made this  new way we hope you will enjoy It :)

In this tutorial you are going to learn 50 cents beat in da clublots of people all trying to do 50 cent beat doesn’t notice that there are some tricky timing thing going on.

What do I mean by this the beat down start on the one count it starts on the offbeat before and a lot of people don’t notice this that’s why all they’re doing their beat their beat is not precise as it could be that’s why

we are here to help you out to differentiate yourself from the others,be a better beatboxer.

Second thing that you should notice is that the base has specific notes that it’s sitting on and it is very important that you will hear it and try to be as precise as possible while doing this beat.

Because most of the people just as the bass sounds while doing this and doesn’t even think about being on a note.

But not us, it’s very important that you will hear the song couple of times and try to hum the baseline and try to be as precise as possible and only that thing will take your beat box up a notch.

And after you’ve mastered those two things you can play with the beat as much as you want and be creative with it ,put your flavor into this and make it unique to your style, because this is what it’s all about.

Enjoy It,

Isato.

The New basic level tutorial – the snare , In this tutorial we are going to cover the idea why it’s important to have many snare sounds in your arsenal, many beginner beatboxers have the same problem of concentrating on only one snare in their beats , they do only the classic snare , or only the clap so they are not being versatile with their music , and I
think this is very important.

In this beatbox tutorial we are going to teach you 3 different sounds of snares :The classic snare , the Synth snare, and throat snare. In this tutorial you will learn how to beatbox better on it. we give you 3 new snares to your Beat Box to play around with, even if you are an experienced beatboxer and you already know those sounds it’s still can help understand how to have more control over your mouth. we show different ways to get to the snare sound, that will probably expand your understanding about how to use your muscles inside your mouth and how the sound is been build.

Well the First snare is the classic snare , we teach it with the same technique that we used to explain The Kick Drum. so we advise you to go and see the kick drum tutorial first and
learn how to do the kick before jumping to snare.

To do the throat snare it’s sound is based on the Bongo drum sound and added to this sound the word “Ish” that’s how it’s been made.

The synth snare is symbolized with the letters “Tsh” you really pronounce the letter “T” and then push your air out with the “Sh” in the end, So it’s “T-sh” .

So good luck to you all and keep working hard.

We live and Breath Beatbox,

Isato.

Basic Beatbox Kick Drum Sounds

by Isato on January 17, 2010 · 14 comments

Welcome to our newest beatbox tutorial video , at this lesson we are going to learn one of the basic sounds “the kick drum”. We are going to teach you a couple of different techniques to learn how to beatbox this sound and then we will give you three different kick sounds to have in your beatbox arsenal. They are the “synth kick”,”Air kick” and the “classic kick”.

If you really want to learn how to become the best beatboxer it’s very important to master the basics – our tutorials will give you a head start. Lots of times we see beatboxers with great potential of becoming amazing beatboxers but what stops them is one thing . CONTROL.

This is the reason that we are teaching you in this beatbox tutorial three different ways of learning to generate the sound from your mouth and lips , the purpose is to get the understanding of what kind of an air flow suppose to be, and what is the right position of your lips . The secret is when you get all this tutorial stuff it will give you a strong fundamentals for learning other more complicated sounds (that we will making tutorials for :) ), cause when you have understanding and control over your muscles you can play with the sound that you are making and in this way you may invent a new sound. that’s how you become unique , by having control and understanding.

In the second topic we teach three different kick sounds : The synth kick, the air kick and the classic kick.

So our next beatbox tutorial will going to be on learning how to do another basic sound – “The Snare” that beatbox tutorial will be simular to this one , we will be covering different ways of doing it and different kinds of snares. Please share and comment how did you used this tutorial, and even post a video response on youtube!

Here at beatbox tutorial dot net we strongly support different ways learning one thing and not being stuck,  some people might find that it’s a lot easier to do it one way then the other , so we give you all the ways :).

This is all for now, now go practice. Don’t forget to share you stories after you’ve learned it and performed it to your friends!

Keep beatboxing!

Your beatbox tutor,

Isato

How I got on the radio? Well, this time I were invited . But the first time that got myself on the Radio was like this: I just called this station and said that I wanna come and Perform there live.

They requested  to see my material  before they invite me, I sent them my videos, they were very impressed  and called me to come and interviewed me, It was an amazing experience.  So with this I wanted to say that If you want to perform and you take yourself seriously . First thing Practice , use our beatbox tutorials and learn how to beatbox info and ask as many questions as you need, then go and film at least one good YouTube video of you doing beat box, focus on getting the best audio quality and edit it well.

Now you are ready , to go and show this to people (you don’t have to be the best beatboxer to do it) so what you need to do is just call the club or the radio station that you want to perform there.

If you are saying to yourself  “It can’t be that easy” well it is! just go and do it! and if one place turn you down, don’t take it personally, keep trying and you will succeed trust me .
